I personally really liked your website and the concept of it, it is very much in line with my own beliefs so it really resonated with me on a personal level.

I think what you do is fantastic & very admirable! I will most definitely recommend your organisation to the school I work in alongside the youth club, & encourage young people not only to share their stories but to put forward how they feel etc.
Free Your Mind seems like a really good idea, something that is needed in todays society. Hope it goes from strength to strength.
I ran across your site a few days ago.. You sound just like ME!!.. All those feelings you talk about I feel everyday and I can’t seem to make them go away, I feel so helpless most of the time.. How did you do it? Some days I feel better and then days like today I feel like that same little girl and I feel so unhappy, so sad!! And no one understands it, even I don’t sometimes. What I do know is I want to get better, I want to be happy for a change.
For many years as far back as I can remember I have suffered with anxiety and a panic disorder. In my continuous journey to find myself and resolve my issues I have always been searching for some where I could go day and night to gain support. This is where Free Your Mind has become invaluable to me in helping me gain support at all times as my anxiety can come at any point regardless of time. I have been able to share my experiences, relate to others, read other peoples stories and access information. It is the sharing of stories that has helped me put my life into perspective as they have given me encouragement and hope on my downiest days. I value and appreciate the support given and the encouraging messages on Free Your Mind. It has encouraged me to think about how my life choices and how the decisions of others has affected my life.
I think it’s an excellent tool for people from all walks of life to express themselves. Like an open forum, it’s open to anyone out there who wants to share their life in the hope that others may take something from it. For me it was a huge step in the sense that it was a period of my life that I was ashamed of therefore felt like I had to suppress it. It’s definitely made me less self conscious, stronger and more importantly it’s made me realise how I want to live my life/the person I want to be. It’s made me question my own existence & accept my failures. I really want to start writing poetry & am focusing on that, plus i would love to do some work with yourself at some point & help in any way I can. Much admiration for you & your cause xx
“Through my work I meet many constituents struggling with mental health problems; stress, anxiety, depression and many more. In the current difficult climate I think these problems are, if anything, increasing markedly. I think it is incredibly important that people feel confident about discussing how they feel and that is why I believe that “Free Your Mind” could be a very valuable resource for anyone suffering mental illness.”

Hi Natasha, I have just read about you, your blog, your website and your book. I really can’t tell you how much I admire what you are doing. I lost my son, Nathan, to suicide on 12th July 2011, he was just 19 years old. We (all his family and friends) had no idea anything was wrong until it was too late. A website like yours could have saved him! Be very proud of yourself and please keep up the great work you are doing! It will be making a difference.

Hi… Just wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are to me… Your story is similar to mine, I grew up watching my dad beat my mom almost to death, ended up in a battered wives home… I’ve struggled with my mental health all my life, and tried to take my own life about 10 years ago. And I look at you and see a beautiful and strong person who has overcome so much and using your experience to help others. I think you’re great, keep doing what you’re doing….And thank you xxxx
Your campaign sounds really interesting and inspiring so thank you for letting us know about the work you’re doing. By collecting and sharing stories and conversations it sounds like we are doing similar things which is great. I wonder if you would be interested in writing a piece for our blogs section of the website?
